NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF PHARMACY TECHNICIANS AND PHARMACEUTICAL TECHNOLOGISTS OF NIGERIA (NAPPTON) MEETING HELD ON THURSDAY 20th of JUNE 2019

This is a report of NAPPTON (National Association of Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmaceutical Technologists of Nigeria) meeting that was held on Thursday 20th of June 2019. Firstly, The Executives were welcomed to the their first ever meeting with NAPPTON and we were acknowledged to introduce ourselves. Alot was said about the challenges being faced by the technicians and technologists from the PCN. Secondly, The NAPPTON Chairman (Pharm tech. Akintona Otemuyi) addressed the meeting and said so many things. He (Pharm tech. Akintona Otemuyi) talked about the State meeting of NAPPTON which is every third (3rd) Thursday of every month. He talked about NAPPTON WEEK which will hold on the 2nd week of October 2019. He talked about COMMUNITY PRACTICE which actually means that technicians/technology will have the access to open a Pharmaceutical Store. INTRODUCTION TO LOW BLOOD PRESSURE Low  Blood Pressure, also called HYPOTENSION is when the Blood Pressure low enough, that the flow of blood to the organs of the body is inadequate and symptoms and/or signs of low blood flow develop. Low blood pressure might seem desirable, and for some people, it causes no problems. However, for many people, abnormally low blood pressure (hypotension) can cause dizziness and fainting.
